Shipping and import charges
Dispatch timing
Regular items are dispatched within 5 calendar days after payment is completed. Pre-order items are dispatched according to the shipping schedule stated on the product page.
These periods refer to dispatch from our store, not delivery to your address. Please allow additional time for delivery after dispatch.
Shipping within Japan
Shipping within Japan is based on the product subtotal after discounts: free for JPY 0 or JPY 1,200 or more, and JPY 240 for JPY 1–1,199. Digital-only orders have no shipping charge.
International shipping options
For supported destinations, you can choose EMS or International Air Packet at checkout.
EMS is a tracked express service. International Air Packet is a tracked airmail service. Please refer to the destination rates and the United States order-value rates below.
The availability of tracking updates varies by destination. Delivery times are estimates after dispatch and are not guaranteed. Customs clearance, flight schedules and local conditions may cause delays.
Examples from Hyogo, Japan: Taiwan — EMS approximately 2 days / International Air Packet approximately 9 days; the United Kingdom — EMS approximately 5 days / International Air Packet approximately 12 days; California, United States — EMS approximately 11–12 days / International Air Packet approximately 18 days to major cities. These Japan Post standard estimates were checked on October 11, 2026 and exclude customs clearance. They do not apply to every destination.

Postage for EMS and International Air Packet is based on Japan Post’s rates for parcels up to 500g. If your shipment exceeds 500g, we cover the additional postage at no extra cost to you. If the packed shipment exceeds 2kg, we split it into parcels weighing no more than 2kg each, including packaging. We also cover the additional postage for these split shipments and provide a tracking number for each parcel.
Currently, only International Air Packet is available to Iceland, and shipping to Fiji is suspended. Some destinations and addresses are excluded.
Shipping to the United States
You can choose EMS or International Air Packet. The U.S. shipping charge includes delivery and customs-processing fees. It is calculated once per order based on the product subtotal after discounts, excluding shipping, duties and taxes, rather than separately for each item.
Your final shipping charge is shown at checkout before you place your order. Digital-only orders have no shipping charge. If you purchase digital products together with physical products, digital products are included in the product subtotal used to calculate shipping.
The same shipping rates apply to reward items shipped to the United States. Shipping is charged separately even when points reduce the reward item price to zero. If you order regular products together with a reward item, shipping is based on the product subtotal after discounts.
JPY rate settings (for reference)
The table below shows our shipping tiers configured in Japanese yen. Currency conversion and rounding apply when paying in U.S. dollars or another currency, so the applicable tier may differ from what you would expect using the Japanese-yen catalog prices alone. Please use the amount shown at checkout as your final shipping charge.

The shipping charges in the table do not include duties or import taxes. We do not charge additional shipping fees solely because of the package size or weight.
Duties and customs processing fees are different charges. Processing fees already included in shipping are not charged again.
U.S. duties and import taxes
Applicable duties and import taxes are calculated and collected separately from the product price and shipping charge at checkout. We arrange prepayment before dispatch. If you receive a request for additional import charges during delivery, please contact us with the details of the request.

Our flat shipping rates for supported destinations are listed below. The U.S. shipping and processing rate table does not apply. Please check the amount shown at checkout.

These are our JPY rate settings. Currency conversion and rounding apply to local-currency amounts.
Taxes for destinations outside the United States
Shipping charges do not include destination VAT, customs duties or local customs handling fees. The recipient is responsible for these charges when applicable. We do not use IOSS for direct sales through this store to the EU. VAT and duties may apply even to low-value orders.
Digital products
Orders containing only digital products do not require shipping and have no shipping charge. Printed paper patterns are physical products that require shipping.
If your parcel has not arrived
Please contact us with your order number and tracking number. We will check the delivery status. If the parcel is confirmed lost, Nanairo Tentou will take responsibility for handling the matter.
